Ok, sooooo I know I’m supposed to be changing my tumblr up shortly…………..I’m getting to it lol. I’ve been on Spring Break this week and while I’m enjoying the heck out of this break I am not liking it fitness wise:(. Unfortunately I’ve been sick for like the past two weeks and I just found out Saturaday that I actually had a sinus infection, sooooo anyone that knows sinus infections knows the two best ways to treat it: Antibiotics and STEROIDS. Ugh!!! steroids, i used to have to take them for a long period of time because of inflammation that I had in highschool. Boy does that drug know how to mess up a body. After the first night I took it I already noticed the huge increase in water weight. It suuuuucks. You work so hard for a body and you dont really get to enjoy your work. Oh and did i mention it makes you gain weight in your face too??, Ugh! lol. Well im off of it now and most importantly I’m feeling alot better but I’m absolutely hating this extra weight and I’m hoping that it sheds off within the next couple of days so that I can continue with my progress and SEE results lol.
It has definitely been a while since I last posted, and about a century since I’ve posted something that I’ve actually written myself lol. Honestly I’ve just been too busy to post; however, I’ve been on Tumblr almost every single day. Since mid January I’ve been on a journey. I don’t want to call it a weight loss journey so instead i’ll call it a fitness journey. A few weeks ago I finally decided to do something about the extra weight that I had been carrying around. That was my first goal, but thanks to Tumblr I developed a new goal, not only do I want to shed pounds, I want to build muscle as well. I want to look FIT lol. Tumblr has shown me that you don’t have to be born with the muscles of a pro or college athlete; anyone, even people who start from the lowest caliber of fitness can look phenomenal and become strong. So I jumped on it right away. Since January 17th of this year up till now I have gone from 151 pounds to 135 pounds. That’s a 16 pound drop!!! I’ve never lost that much weight before. Not only am I shedding fat though, I’m also BUILDING muscle which is a very very tricky thing to do sometimes because muscles has more density than fat so you may not always see the results you want on the scale even though you’re slimming down. I’m so excited. In a matter of a month and half I have gotten back into the shape that I was in when I played tennis vigorously as a child and a teen. So if I can do that imagine what I can do with in the next 3 months! I have been weight training twice a week. I split that up in to a lower body workout and and upper body/core workout. The rest of the time that i spend working out is jogging(yes, i love jogging now, and I’m good at it now!), HIIT, and spin classes. Yes! I hit the gym hard! lol. When i get to a weight maintenance phase though i’ll tone it down a little. Just a little, I honestly love all of this working out; it has taught me to have discipline in other aspects of my life as well.
Well my goal weight is 120 and I told myself that when I get to the halfway point I wanted to change my Tumblr to %50 what
“Why do people say “grow some balls”? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough, grow a Vagina! Those things take a pounding!”
Bahah, oh I love this woman. So individual and amazing.
Ditto!

LOL, natural hair….
Lmbo!!! This is sooo funny, no offense to girls with natural hair because I’m actually one myself now lol. The cotton pillow case joke threw me for a loop though because I never slept with them even with relaxed hair. lol

A special friend of mine… you became a great tennis bud and now you are one of my truest most cherished friends. I’m glad to have a friend like you, someone who’s humble, intelligent, and has great values in life. I’m also glad that I was a friend that was able to support you through one of the greatest pains that a person could ever endure. I still want to be there for you to provide support in any situation a good friend is needed for. I can assure you that I’m not going to be a friend who’s loyalty will change over time nor distance. Our friendship is life long, and even if not I know that I’ve had the pleasure of once having a great friend like you. I wish you muuuuuuch success at Georgia Tech. Keep working hard as you do now. I know that you will excel. Me, ash, and kev are going to miss you so much at Georgia Southern and I’m sure there are others that will miss you too. Well you’re a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket now, knock em dead!
